Traditional automakers seem to be leaping forward sensing the urge in the market towards the autonomous future. In a recent study conducted by The Cologne Institute for Economic Research, the establishment identified and analyzed 5,839 related patents from over the past seven years.
The results showcased a fact that, Bosch– a longtime parts and systems supplier for the auto industry are far ahead of anyone else in the industry. Might come as a surprise to many, but the German Multinational has been increasingly focusing on autonomous car technologies. Along side this, the company is also working with nominal rivals like Google and Tesla to develop steering systems and other driver assistance systems- like automatic braking systems etc.
