The Ultimate Tesla Model 3 Dash Cams- WheelWitness HD PRO
With the autonomous market peeking, Tesla Motors witnessed a surge in its car sales like never before. According to several reports it has been revealed that, the electric car manufacturer delivered 101,312 Model S and X vehicles in 2017 which is an increase of 33 per cent over 2016. The folks at Tesla mention that the company is looking to ramp up production of the Model 3, which is why it has ‘slightly reduced Model S and X production’.
The overwhelming response from the market has triggered the demand for compatible accessories to bridge the minor gaps. In this post we take a look at the famed WheelWitness HD PRO Dash Cam.
Wheel Witness is a groundbreaking company that has stormed the dashcam market creating one of the best dashboard cameras ever made so far. The WheelWitness HD Pro is one of the few products created by this company – being released at the end of 2014. Since then, this dashcam has captivated tens of thousands of drivers from all around the world who were eager to try one of the best dashboard cameras ever made.
Wheel Witness’s HD Pro is a slim and discreet dash camera packed that boasts features found in higher priced models. The camera itself is attached to part of the mounting system that houses the GPS module which then attaches to a suction cup or 3M sticky pad. We found using this device while attached is easy as cake with the large 3” LCD screen and accessible buttons that face the driver.
The Wheel Witness HD Pro almost has a 2K resolution at 2304×1296 @ 30fps and with the 170° FOV, this camera shines in both daytime and nighttime recording. Daytime recordings were clear and the FOV captured cars, people, the reflection off the hood, or objects on either side of the car, but street signs were hard to read when stopped at a light. The nighttime videos were impressive in terms of capturing the environment in low lighting – even if objects were out of the headlight beams. We think this camera is great for recording incidents or landscapes, but finer details could be improved to make this one of the best dash cameras.

WheelWitness HD Pro Pros:
This top-notch dashcam is capable of recording seamlessly at 1296p at 30 frames per second. The images recorded are crisp and all the details can be noticed with ease.
At this high resolution, you can make out many more important details at greater distances that otherwise would have appeared blurred. In a nutshell, this camera is a game changer, enabling drivers to experience the highest video quality possible.
– Well built:
This camera is well manufactured, being equipped with an Ambarella A7 chip that can easily process all amount of information the camera offers. It has a black matte exterior that enables it to easily blend into the car interior.
– WDR:
Thanks to the wide dynamic range option that is embedded in the HDR technology offered by this camera, one gets the best quality for your recording, both during the day and night. WDR provides both a balanced exposure and a great image quality.
– Large 3.0” LCD screen:
For the rear end, WheelWitness HD Pro offers a large 3.0” LCD that enables one to view the recording real time. You can also use the screen to watch the footage you’ve recorded earlier in the day and erase unnecessary parts.
– G-Sensor:
During the event of a collision, the G-sensor automatically locks the footage. This enables one to identify the plate number of the car that hit you with ease.
– Loop recording:
This is a standard feature most dashcams have. Whereas when, it comes to the WheelWitness HD Pro, this feature is not just any substandard feature. Loop recording, from Wheel Witness’s perspective, means continuous recording while automatically saving important moments on the card.
Those important moments include car accidents, bumps, sudden breaks, and the list goes on.
Wheelwitness Hd Pro Cons :
– Missing footage:
When the motion detector and G-sensor are both active, some of the footage might erase itself. When recording, make sure you turn either one of these features off in order to avoid missing footage.
– Burnt charger:
According to several users, the charger fuse burns if the camera records seamlessly for a longer period of time. If this happens, you can send the product back and get a new one or simply buy a new charger online.

Order this dashcam today if you want to record at the highest quality possible, in true HD, while driving having the peace of mind that your car is secure against theft or damage done on purpose from other drivers.
