General Motors To Reign Supreme In Developing Autonomous Cars: Deutsche Bank

As the plot thickens, many seem to be undervaluing the efforts put in by General Motors in the revolution towards the autonomous future. But with a recent report by Deutsche Bank, that perception might actually change. The report suggests that, GM are hungrier than even and is aggressively passionate about the forthcoming changes in the industry.
The Wall Street firm adjudged that, the company will attain a large market share of the new AV market.

GM’s AV’s will be ready for commercial deployment, without human drivers, much sooner than widely expected (within quarters, not years), and potentially years ahead of competitors

Rod Lache, Analyst – Deutsche Bank
The automakers are cited to hold atleast 17.5 percent of the market once deployed, with the prospects of the autonomous vehicle and mobility business going on to be a potential, $7 trillion global market. The management believes that their AV’s, which are being tested in some of the most complex urban environments (the City of San Francisco), will be ready for commercial deployment much sooner than is widely expected.
